• A black rubber suction cup can leave rings on glass surfaces, with the kim120 you will not have this problem due to the gray rubber. The surface remains streak-free after use.

Vacuum

Working with vacuum lifters in damp or wet weather is risky. Moisture on the glass surface can cause the suction cups to lose adhesion, which may result in the glass detaching unexpectedly. This increases the risk of accidents and damage.

In addition, moisture or dirt can be drawn into the vacuum chamber of the lifter. This disrupts the seal and can lead to contamination of the sealing edges or filters, which, over time, impairs the performance of the system.

When water vapor is present in a vacuum, the boiling point drops, causing moisture to evaporate more quickly. As a result, the vapor pressure inside the vacuum system increases, effectively reducing the vacuum level. This lowers the negative pressure (the difference between internal and external pressure) and therefore also decreases the suction power and grip of the lifter. This effect makes vacuum lifters even less reliable under wet conditions.

For this reason, the use of vacuum lifters in rain, condensation, or on moist glass is strongly discouraged.
