Meerbouw Pijnacker, specialized in expansion and renovation projects, encountered a significant logistical challenge. Narrow streets and limited workspace made it impossible to use heavy cranes to install the large, heavy glass panels essential for the project. Site manager Ron wondered, “How can we install 230 kg glass panels without cranes while respecting the maximum lifting limit of 23 kg per person?” The answer came from Gevelridder.

Using the agile Carve 500, the glass was transported to the rear of the building. There, the Gevelridder L, combined with a rotating smart battery vacuum lifter from Muyen, was used to safely and effortlessly rotate and position the glass with pinpoint accuracy.
Completed in Just Two Days
Within two days, all the glass panels were installed using Gevelridder’s lightweight mini crane—without any physical strain or back injuries for the Meerbouw Pijnacker team.
